Extending out across the Pentire headland in Newquay, 36 Views of Pentire is a contemporary reappropriation of the iconic Under the Wave off Kanagawa, from the Thirty-six Views of Mount Fuji landscape print series (1830 to 1832) created by Japanese ukiyo-e artist Hokusai (1760–1849).
This project was a special commission through Redhouse Originals.
